Summary With the IBC Protocol at its core, Picasso strengthens cross-ecosystem security, prioritizing fast and secure transactions to enhance seamless connectivity using it’s decentralized trust architecture. Picasso extends the IBC Protocol's reach beyond the Cosmos ecosystem, integrating it with layer 1 protocols from networks like Ethereum, Polkadot, and Solana. The Quicksilver core development team proposes onboarding the Picasso blockchain onto Quicksilver to unlock liquidity for $PICA stakers. This action will enable the deposit of $PICA (ppica) and the minting of $qPICA (pqpica). Timing The onboarding of the Picasso zone will be effective when the proposal passes at the end of the voting period. Subsequent to successful checks, the Quicksilver web app will enable support for Picasso shortly afterwards.
